About Our Services
At Creekside Assembly, our services are centered around heartfelt worship, meaningful prayer, and the clear teaching of God’s Word. We gather as a community of caring, friendly, and prayerful people committed to growing in faith together. Each service is an opportunity to worship God through music, Scripture, and prayer while allowing space for the Holy Spirit to work in our lives.
At the close of every service, the altar is open for anyone who desires prayer, anointing for healing (as encouraged in James 5:14), or simply a moment of personal reflection. We believe the Bible is God’s guide for every aspect of life, and we rely on the Holy Spirit for the strength and wisdom to live it out.
Our approach is grounded in love and truth—we share what we believe God’s Word teaches with kindness and respect. Whether you’re new to faith or have been walking with God for years, you’ll find a welcoming atmosphere and people ready to pray, support, and walk alongside you.
Our Vision
At Creekside Assembly of God, we envision a community where every believer is empowered to discover and actively use their spiritual gifts. By doing so, we aim to build up and encourage one another while reaching out to those who have yet to know Christ.
We are dedicated to creating an environment where worship is heartfelt, prayer is fervent, and the preaching of God's Word is both anointed and transformative. Fellowship is a cornerstone of our community, as we support and minister to each other. Through this nurturing atmosphere, we prepare believers to share the message of salvation both locally and globally.

Mike Washburn
Let me introduce myself; I am Mike Washburn, the lead pastor here at Creekside, along with my wife and partner in ministry, Terry. We are here to help and encourage you in your faith journey as you grow in your relationship with Jesus! Please check out the website. We would love to have you come and join us for a service at our campus located right next to the Tonawanda Creek here in Amherst, NY. If we can be of any assistance to you as you navigate your spiritual life, we would love to help in any way we can. Terry and I have been in ministry for four decades and would love to share with you what we have learned on our journey with Christ!
